More Wildflowers in the Garden

I was very pleased to find we have Wood Anemone in the garden, under the shade of the hazel stand... It’s been an early bloom for a few flowers this year.

The Cherry blossom was out late March, they & the Tulips are nearly over now. Early April saw the Lady Smock popping up a month early; garden now covered, so the orange tip butterflies will be happy!

I was so pleased with this Wood Anemone (with Lady Smock in the background) that I had to see it on glass. Here it is, almost hot off the press!

It’s very apt for tomorrow’s ‘Spring in the Courtyard’ event with Made in Monmouthshire colleagues.
