Given the majority of our pheasant males first appear in the garden with few or no tail feathers, the majority end up being called 'Stumpy. I watched from the kitchen window as this male waddled up to our garden bench. As soon as he hopped up, his one foot lifted & his head drooped..
He snoozed in the sun for a good couple of hours before trundling off about his business..
