Garden Bumblebee on sweetpea round coaster. Part of my british bees and bumblebees gift collection.
Dimensions: 9cm diameter, depth 2mm, weight 22g.
The plant had seeded itself in the crack between 2 paving stones in front of the house but I left it over the summer for the bees. Certain flowers seem to cause the bees to ‘hum’ in a higher pitch & this is one of them – the bee sounded delighted as it moved from lower to flower.
