This image was taken in December 2018, when the snow fall had sent a few birds to the feeders. This Robin had its feathers fluffed out to stay warm as it took a break from munching on fat balls. Our Robins, Chaffinch & Dunnocks (more traditionally ground-feeders) have been learning with each new generation to eat from the feeders too.
