I’m pleased to be a member of the Wye Valley Crafts Association in Tintern. I joined the summer of 2016 but the association has been going since 1986..
In 1994 WVCA opened a shop on the Abbey Mill site. Run as a co-operative, the shop is staffed by our members and is open 7 days a week for most of the year. We close just after the new year and re-open in early February, (giving us chance for a spring clean!)
In 2020 we open today, 8th February, 10.30am to 5pm.
WVCA aims are to maintain high standards of individual workmanship, develop a professional approach to business dealings and provide opportunities for local crafts people to exhibit & sell their work.
Our current members work in many different materials, from glass, turned wood, leather & hand-spun woollen goods, to stoneware pottery, fabric, needle-felting, natural skincare and more… You can see more at http://www.wyevalleycrafts.co.uk
A wide range of my British nature dining art & gifts are available in the shop. Items can of course be purchased in the shop or give the visitor chance to see the high quality of the finished items – especially useful if you wish to have your own photo or design printed.
Guest spot
When we have the space to do so, we offer a guest spot to other crafters and artists. Whether you are an established crafter looking to expand your opportunities or just starting out, our guest spot is available for a month (guests do not have duties in the shop).
You can find more information at http://www.wyevalleycrafts.co.uk/guest-spot.html
